This is a boys love romance focused on our main character here and another man from a noble family, who will deliver the main character from his poverty. But they will suffer during their life in the entanglement of politics, since the noble man is supporting a prince for the throne but that prince fails and another becomes the emperor, so the two lovers have to flee in order to escape execution. The get separated then reunited at some point. our main character discovers more and more about human nature and loses his naivety. The last stroke is when he is betrayed by his lover, which breaks him. So the remaining days of this life he thought was a gift are spent in misery. But then he gets reincarnated once more, but this time as a child of the emperor, although his mother is not favored and doesn't have a strong backing. He is disheartened, doesn't put much fight for the throne, has some romantic entanglements though he doesn't put his heart to it, before dying under the hands of one of his brothers vying for the throne. The nex times, he gets reincarnated as a cripple, he legs don't work. his family is well off. He had been through a lot and doesn't have the will to live or to love anymore. but he finds a treasure in a servant who tries to encourage him, to make him appreciate life. He starts falling in love with that servant, even thinking that he, the servant, likes him. But then discovers he had a sweetheart. He confesses his feelings but the servant tells him he has someone he loves, and he doesn't like men. The servant eventually marries, but then his wife dies. The main character, even weighted by feelings of inferiority, tries to convince his servant to be with him, even promising all his family fortune to him. the servant resists, says he isn't attracted to him, but in the end he agrees. He forces himself to be with him and even through intercourse. But the main character can feel that he doesn't like him. The servant through time becomes more and more bitter, his character twisted by riches, the loss of his wife who was his only true love, and the fact of forcing himself to be with a man. so he starts misteating the main character, but the main character accepts it because he feels inferior and knows he is forcing the servant to be with him. the two in the end cause each other's down fall. In his new life after reincarnating, the main chararcter becomes the son of a prostitute who is then bought by a mighty noble to become his concubine, but is bullied by the main wife. Here the main character is gloomy and just scrapes though life, promising never to love again. Here a prince falls in love with him through some chance encounter and promises to make him his empress. the main character doesn't believe him and gives him the cold shoulder until the last day in his life, even though he does because the prince's concubine after the prince becomes the emperor. The prince has faced many schemes before becalming an emperor, so the political schemes should be detailed. When the prince becomes emperor, he expresses his sincerity toward the main character by making him his concubine, and not his empress, so that the court will not criticize the main character for leading the emperor astray and try to scheme against him, since it is against morals to have a male wife since they can't bear children. But the new emperor, gives him one of his own children with another concubine to raise, and says he will make the child the crown prince. the main character finds a little joy in raising a child for the first time, and feels grateful to the emperor, but his feeling of inferiority for being a man, and the fear of being betrayed again keeps him from loving the emperor openly until the day he dies.
