The flame was protected by the royal family, the "Kaeron Lineage," who had sworn to maintain the balance of light and shadow. But one night, during a bloody eclipse, the flame was extinguished. Shadows engulfed the kingdom, and a curse spread, turning all who lived there into soulless monstrosities, endlessly seeking the lost light. Only one remained untouched—"Arael," the last knight of the Kaeron bloodline, whose royal heritage spared him from the curse. Arael wielded an ancient sword known as the "Blade of Remembrance," a weapon said to have the power to reignite the flame. He embarked on a perilous journey, traversing the ruins of the kingdom, facing beasts, exiled sorcerers, and fallen kings who had abandoned their honor and succumbed to the shadows. Along the way, Arael discovered that the flame’s extinction was caused by betrayal within his own family. His twin sister, "Elena," whom he thought dead, was the one who extinguished the flame, seeking to free the world from the absolute rule of light and allow nature to restore its own balance between light and darkness. When Arael confronted Elena at the summit of the Flame’s Tower, the two engaged in an epic battle. Elena wielded the power of shadow, while Arael was fueled by the last ember of the Blade of Remembrance. As they fought, the land itself began to collapse under the weight of their powers, and the kingdom was reduced to a sea of ash. In the end, Arael defeated Elena, but at a great cost. The sword shattered, and its power consumed Arael’s own life. As he lay dying, he reignited the flame with his royal blood, bringing life back to the land. Yet this flame was different—a fusion of light and shadow, a symbol of a new balance. But, as if his sacrifice was an illusion, nothing changed. The flame, though rekindled, failed to restore order. The shadows crept back, and the monstrosities continued devouring what little life remained. The land, which was supposed to be reborn, remained drowned in chaos, as if Oraith’s curse was stronger than any balance that could be achieved. The kingdom remained in the grip of disorder, and the shadows reclaimed everything, as if Arael’s sacrifice was nothing more than a delay of the inevitable. His throne, built upon ash, became a symbol of the futility of heroes against the corrupted forces of the world. And so, Arael’s story faded into oblivion, like all the heroes who believed they could change the fate of Oraith. The End.
